Homework 2:2 14/10/09

Consider the other sub-definitions of creative practices that you interact with on a daily basis, during the next 24 hours keep a record of all of these that you encounter.

*FASHION:

- Putting my clothes on in the morning, deciding what to wear.
- Going shopping in the town for a jumper...hundreds and thousands to chose from!
- Reading my magazine on the way home from uni, there's several pages designated for "the top 10 hottest winter looks".
- Celebrities in magazines and television supporting the new looks.

*PHOTOGRAPHY:

- Used on magazine covers everywhere.
- On posters and billboards all over town.
- On the front of my new cd cover.
- Using my mobile phone this afternoon to take photos of my friends

*FINE ART:

- Walking past the Bristol museum and art gallery on my way to uni everyday
- Buildings incorporating sculpture (in stone)
- Going into a cafe at lunch and there are paintings on the walls, framed for decoration
- Drawings (grafiti) of people on the wall at the train station between stops on m way home. The painting is easily 20metres in length.

*GRAPHIX:

- Used for the display of bus timetables.
- Advertisements (on posters and billboards)
- Also incorporated with the photography on my cd case
- Used on internet site (e.g. search engines).
